Heartland Foods – Grocery Store Delivered to Your Home

Recently we decided to try a Heartland Home Foods and so far we are very happy with their service. We were very surprised about taste of organic vacuum sealed frozen veggies, our kids finally eaten some greens – green beans, corn, broccoli, spinach. I never was big fun of chicken, but Heartland Foods offer marinaded chicken breasts and I love how quick and easy we can make a dinner now. The quality of the all food is very good, only I would like thicker cuts of steak; after 2 two minute grilling, they shrink too much and get very dry. We had porterhouse steaks and those were the best, so in future I will order those again.

We love the convenient delivery, it’s perfect, I do not have to search for meats and fishes anymore in stores and the driver even organized all foods in the freezer for us.

Lifetime Fitness – My Very Favorite Gym

I’m very excited about Lifetime Fitness, it has everything I needed plus they have kids daycare, where I can leave my girls and go to do my exercises. First time we went to the pool with kids and it was so much fun for them, they were turning ‘blue’, but did not want to leave a pool. This is not cheap gym, it’s over $140 a month for family, but to have a pool for kids is all I wanted. Now we just have to wait for the outdoor pool, fun activity in the summer.

The gym is open 24 hours a day. The locker rooms are clean and stocked with amenities – offers free towels, q-tips, shaving cream, disposable razors and there are a family locker rooms.

Finally my wife got excited about going to gym too , she like the classes.

There is also LifeCafe with great food and kids meals.

Velocity Five Lansdowne – Fun Place for Drinks & Good Food

Velocity Five Lansdowne is the 5th and newest location for this Northern Virginia chain of sports restaurants, and it’s everything you would expect from Velocity Five. Situated at 19286 Promenade Drive within Lansdowne Town Center (Tel. 571-333-4747), Velocity Five Lansdowne offers American cuisine – including local seafood selections, a raw bar and beer premiers – to locals within newly renovated state-of-the-art facilities. Not an over-the-top sports venue, it appeals to singles, families and non-sports enthusiasts. If you want to catch your favorite team and enjoy good eats, make sure to ask for a booth with your own TV. Morever, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights after 10 pm, the atmosphere and tempo heats up with a live DJ and dancing. Not many places appeal to the masses, allowing you to listen to current tunes, watch sports and dance with your honey!

Don’t miss out on their happy hour specials or outdoor lounge in warmer weather. It’s worth a try with $5 appetizers and $4 house drinks. If you work in the area, they also offer half-price burgers during the week from 11AM to 6PM. To date, we’ve enjoyed it and are looking forward to going back for another casual meal with our family.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill – Grilling Over Open Flame

One night after movies we went to check out a new restaurant Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, where meats and fishes are grilled over open flame and it was really good. I was surprised that this is actually a chain restaurant and this is 20th restaurant, which is located at 1607 Village Market Blvd, Leesburg, VA 20175; Tel. (703) 840-0443. First Firebirds Wood Fired Grill opened its doors in Charlotte, North Carolina in December of 2000.

Nice decor with open kitchen and bathrooms were nice and modern.

Overall everything was fine, we had a very good experience and we will definitely go back!

Fun Vacation Time in Spain

We love going on vacations to Spain and this year it was two week fun traveling from Madrid on train down to Costa del Sol – Malaga and Marbella.
